Some things that I have been working on…
Barangaroo is one of the most significant urban renewal projects in Australia to date and ties together over $6 billion of investment from private enterprise, state and local governments.
I worked as a freelance writer and researcher with Right Angle Studio to produce and present one of the lead pieces of research for the project team entitled ‘The Barangaroo Macro Trend Report’. Working collaboratively with The Future Laboratory we identified and explored three future-facing consumer macro trends that will affect the way Barangaroo is valued and experienced by its key audience groups. Each trend was framed and animated by local and international case studies to reinforce the opportunities for Barangaroo, invigorating and inspiring the project team and setting their sights on delivering a truly great precinct.
It was an interesting project to work on as it focused largely on social and community issues that I had not previously studied in great depth. I am looking forward to seeing which of the ideas and concepts that we discussed will come to fruition on site.
